W. Scott Bias, President, called the special meeting of the Cabell County Commission to order at 10:00 a.m.

#133                            ESTABLISH ACCOUNT 429 PER REQUEST OF THE

                                    STATE AUDITOR

Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, moved to approve establishing a new account in the General County Budget, titled Account 429-Regional Council.  Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. 

#134                            RESOLUTION, CABELL COUNTY COMMISSION

                                    RE:  IN THE MATTER OF THE PUBLIC TEST OF THE

                                             ELECTION TABULATION EQUIPMENT

Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, moved to approve the public test for the tabulating equipment, to be used in the Primary Election, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. and for the notice to be advertised.  Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.  Exhibit (A) 

#135                            NOTICE OF APPROVAL OF THE LEVY ESTIMATE FROM

                                    WEST VIRGINIA STATE AUDITOR FOR LEVY (BUDGET)

                                    ENTER AS PART OF THE RECORD

Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, moved to accept the notice of approval of the Levy Estimate (Budget) from the State Auditor.  Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. 

#136                            ENTERTAINING OBJECTIONS TO THE LEVY RATE

As there were no objections to the levy rate, Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, moved to proceed with the adoption of the levy.  Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.

#137                            ADOPTION OF LEVY ORDER AND RATE SHEET

Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, moved to approve the Levy (Budget) Order and Rate for 2010-2011 fiscal years.  Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. 

W. Scott Bias, President, adjourned the special meeting at 10:04 a.m., until the next regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at 10:00 a.m.
