W. Scott Bias, President, called the Special Meeting of the Cabell County Commission to order at 10:00 a.m.

 

#161                            RESOLUTION, CABELL COUNTY COMMISSION

 

                                    RE:  SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR

                                             CONSIDERATION OF INCREASING CABELL

                                             COUNTY HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX

 

Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, moved to approve the date of Thursday, June 14, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., for a public hearing for consideration to increase the Hotel Occupancy Tax.  Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.  Exhibit (A)

 

#162                            RESOLUTION, CABELL COUNTY COMMISSION

 

                                    RE:  IN THE MATTER OF THE ADOPTION OF AN

                                             AMENDED RESOLUTION TO ALLOCATE HOTEL

                                             OCCUPANCY TAX FUNDS TO HAMBURG FIREWORKS

         

W. Scott Bias, President, stated this amendment was to a previous resolution, and it was to have the funds paid directly to the supplier, instead of Kindred Communications.

 

Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, moved to approve the amendment for allocation of Hotel Occupancy Funds, for the 4th of July Fireworks, and that the funds be paid directly to Hamburg Fireworks.  W. Nancy Cartmill, Commissioner, moved to approve State Budget Revision #14.  Robert L. Bailey, Commissioner, seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.  Exhibit (C)
