Graphic Design Contest
The Cabell County Commission is accepting graphic design proposals from all interested Cabell County residents and students attending local schools. The proposal is for a design with large graphic shapes (not a mural) that can be painted on a large exterior wall of a county owned property. The design can represent some aspect(s) of Cabell County; however, it is not limited to this feature.
Once the designs have been received, they will be evaluated by a panel of judges. The design will be judged in part for its simplicity and ease of re-creation in addition to its aesthetic qualities. The winner of the contest will receive $300.00 and local recognition.
The wall of the structure where the design will be located is approximately 53’ high by 201’ long. The design shall be submitted on 8 ½ X 11 plain paper. The design must be submitted in color on a building diagram available at the Cabell County Commission or on the county website at www.cabellcounty.org.
