At a Regular Session of the County Commission of Cabell County, West Virginia, held at the Courthouse thereof, on the 6^th day of August 2009, the following order was made and entered:

RESOLVED: The County Commission of Cabell County does hereby direct the Clerk of this Commission to immediately publish the following “Advertisement for Bids” as a Class II Legal Advertisement:

The Cabell County Commission is soliciting competitive bid proposals for base bids and/or alternates from General Contractors to clean, repair, and paint the east wall of a structure located at 631 4^th Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia.

Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Arrangements can be made for On-Site Inspection by contacting Stephen Zoeller at 304-526-8634.

Lump sum bid proposals will be received until 10:00 A.M. local time Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Cabell County Commission office, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during regular Court Session at the Cabell County Courthouse, Suite 300, 750-5^th Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701-2072. Outside of envelope shall be marked “Bid – 631 4^th Avenue”. Bids received after stipulated time will not be accepted.

The Cabell County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part, as their interest may require; and to waive any informality in bids received. Additionally, the Cabell County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject a Bid not accompanied by the required Bidding Documents; to accept or reject any condition of the Bid by a Bidder that is in any way inconsistent with the terms and conditions of the Bidding Documents; or to accept or reject a Bid that is in any way incomplete or irregular. All bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days from the date of opening”.
